For the second time the collaborative spirit emanating from the music information centres of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia helps to bring under one roof music publishers from all three Baltic countries at the Frankfurter Musikmesse in early April. This time they will present not only the latest editions, notable composers and their works, but also initiate a discussion about the new choral music from the Baltics. The artistic leaders of the most famous choirs in Latvia and Lithuania - Kaspars Putniŋš (Latvian Radio Chamber Singers) and Vaclovas Augustinas ("Jauna muzika" Chamber Choir) - will explore the most recent repertoire from the Baltics, discuss similarities and differences, their relationship to the rich choral music tradition boasted by their countries, present the most interesting composers and their work. The discussion will include DVD screenings and presentation of the recent publications from the Latvian "Musica Baltica" publishers, Lithuanian Music Information and Publishing Centre, and Estonian "SP Muusikaprojekt". The Lithuanian Music Information and Publishing Centre will also put on display its latest printed editions, including the new collection of choral works "Laudate Dominum" (ed. by Vaclovas Augustinas), eye-catching brochures on 24 Lithuanian composers, and two items of Vytautas Bacevičius Centenary Edition - complete organ works and Septième mot for two pianos.
