Between 2000 and 2010 Music Information Centre Lithuania published Lithuanian Music Link, an English-language biannual newsletter, dedicated to trends, currents and contexts of Lithuanian music as well as its history and distinguished representatives. The publication covered ‘scenarios’ in jazz, experimental electronic music, and new folk with its main focus on Lithuanian contemporary art music as far as its creation, performance, and public presentation was concerned. Since the primary goal of Lithuanian Music Link was to bring Lithuanian musical culture closer to audiences abroad, both its printed and online versions were in English. Music Information Centre Lithuania decided to revive the publication in 2015 in the new form of a printed annual magazine.
