Linas Adomaitis
A singer, songwriter, producer, arranger, composer, violin player, educator, traveller and „happy 365-days-a-year” character, Linas Adomaitis is well-known to everyone with a slightest interest in Lithuanian pop. Many first heard of him during his days in L+ - formed by Linas in 1996, this wildly successful quartet was arguably Lithuania's first vocal r'n'b group. After that band's break-up in 2000, Linas went on to record solo under Adoms moniker, formed an experimental jazz-funk band UAB Music (which released several albums, including spirited takes on catalogue of Stevie Wonder and The Beatles), formed a duo with female singer Simona Jakubėnaitė (they took part in Eurovision 2004 singing What's Happened To Your Love), performed and won awards at music events in Malta, Cyprus, Greece, Latvia, Ukraine, Czech Republic, Belarus, Kazakhstan, sung leading roles in musicals and rock operas, recorded with Eurovision winner Ruslana, went on a “troubadour trip” around Central America with adventurous singer-songwriter Hokshila (they called themselves Backpackers and turned their jam-sessions with the locals into album release, as well) and... well, the story continues. Packed with hits and collaborations with well-known Lithuanian artists, the album Floating To You was released in 2012, followed by a live album/DVD with a title that sort of sums it up – 15 metų scenoje (15 Years On Stage). 2014 will see Linas embarking on another adventure – a new album Laiko mašina (A Time Machine) will be released and a series of presentation gigs will feature Lithuanian National Symphony Orchestra, an achievement very few Lithuanian pop artists have on their resume.

Linas released his second solo album Window Of My Soul in 2008, featuring collaborations with some of Lithuania's most talented singers (and the list of people he worked with throughout his career is too long to even think about putting it here). A year-long hiatus followed but Linas came back with a bang, writing and recording music for a full length dance show Dulkių spindesys (Glitter Of Gutter), acting as a musical producer of Euro Basket 2011 opening ceremony and coming very close to being selected to represent Lithuania at Eurovision 2011.
