Tarvainis

L. Tarvainis has been in the music industry for more than a decade now. During this time, he created several other, lesser-known projects, such as Penthouse Bruneii, Sintetika Humana, and Primitiv Notion, which reflect different perspectives on the music he is interested in. "Tarvainis" is the original project of Lukas Tarvainis, which is dominated by experimental and academic electronic music. It is difficult to define and classify this project for specific stylistics and certain prevailing musical trends because, in the context of academic and experimental electronics, the author pays more attention to the search for authentic and divergent results through paradoxically opposite paradigms of algorithmic composition, often utilising aleatory principles and modular sound synthesis in his work. The very mood, sound, and flow of the piece and/or performance are formed gradually and intuitively. Nevertheless, the author's tendency towards dark and raw sounds of synthesizers, ethereal ambient atmospheres, and organic textures made with found sound and sound design collages can easily be noticed in his work.
